Jackbox video games at Tivoli Free Library

WHAT: Teen Night: Jackbox Video Games!

WHEN: Friday, March 2, from 4 to 5 p.m.

WHERE: East Room, The Tivoli Free Library, 86 Broadway, Tivoli.

DETAILS: Come play fun Jackbox video games on the smart TV. Play games such as: “Earwax”, “WordSpud”, “Quiplash”, “Tee K.O”, and more. One needs a smartphone to be able to play. The library has three Galaxy Tabs to use if participan­ts do not have a smartphone. The library also has four laptops available, but, drawing games cannot be played with them. For teens. Pizza will be served (while supplies last) thanks to Broadway Pizza in Tivoli.

Saugerties Pro Musica concert features piano recital

WHAT: Saugerties Pro Musica Piano Concert with Yalin Chi WHEN: Sunday, March 18, at 3 p.m.

WHERE: Saugerties United Methodist Church, corners of Washington Avenue and Post Street in Saugerties

DETAILS: Yalin Chi will be performing Debussy; Images Book I; Beethoven, Sonata in A Major, Op. 101; and Rachmanino­ff, Variations on a Theme of Corelli, Op. 42. Originally from Beijing, China, Yalin Chi made her debut with the Central Opera Orchestra before moving to the United States to study at Interloche­n Arts Academy. She has performed at venues including Alice Tully Hall, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Kumho Art Hall in Seoul, Korea, and ZhongShan Music Hall in Beijing China. Yalin studied with Seymour Lipkin and Jerome Lowenthal at the Juilliard School where she earned both undergradu­ate and masters of music degrees, and continued studies with Peter Frankl at Yale School of Music before joining the West Point Band in 2008. Tickets are $15; $12 for seniors; free for students.
