After retirement, Elizabeth enjoyed helping with fund raisers at church and the fire department. Attending monthly Kaffeeklatches at the Kingston Maennerchor and Damenchor was a pleasure for her. She found great joy in her flower garden and loved watching and feeding the birds and squirrels. Her main personal interests were music, crafts, and reading.

Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Willi, in June of 1990 after 49 years of marriage. Her son-in-law, Dennis Davis, also predeceased her in 1983.
