Arold Construction nets Biddy League girls 8-12 win
Ava Scaturro scored four points in overtime to lift Arold Construction over Kingston Point BMX 17-15 to claim the Kingston Recreation League Biddy Basketball girls 8-12-year-old Division crown.
Neveah Treasure had drained a two to give Kingston Point BMX the lead at the start of OT after Jewellz Right sunk two fouls with 10 seconds left in regulation to keep Arold alive.
Scaturro’s seven points led Arold.
In Boys-11-13 action, Potter Brothers beat Ulster Uniform Service 68-65 to face Postupack Valuation, which downed Rondout Savings Bank 52-39.
Ulster Uniform held a 3824 lead at the half, but Potter Brothers roared back 41-30 in the second to pull within three. Ryan McCardle scored 30 points, Ryan Jankowski had 11, and Derek Constance added 10 to lead Ulster.
Cameron Potter scored 26, Kermonte Thawe had 18 and Cody Baker contributed 15 to pace Potter Brothers.
Ulster Savings Bank will face Kingston Lions Club in the finals of the Boys-8-10 Division.
Armando Medley and Liam Platte each scored six points to lift Ulster Savings Bank past Lowe Plumbing, Heating and A/C 18-14.
Wade Holsapple paced Lowe in the loss with seven points.
Massox Roger scored 10 points and Giovanni Smith had eight to power Kingston Lions Club past BSN Sports 29-13.
Joey McDonald scored seven points to pace BSN in the loss.
Lester Morena scored 29 points as Scanlon’s edged Clegg’S III 60-59 in a boys 14-18 contest that was closely contest throughout.
Demani Morrison added 15 points for Scanlon’s who held a 35-34 advantage at the half.
