City of Kingston
· Drugs: Sean O’Flaherty, 33, of Boiceville, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:30 p.m. Monday on Albany Avenue and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, the violation of controlled substance in a nonoriginal container and an exhaust system infraction. O’Flaherty was released with appearance tickets for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
· DWI: Richard J. Thevenet, 30, of Albany, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:34 p.m. Monday on state Route 23 and charged with the felony of driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent and the misdemeanor of drunken driving. Thevenet was released with appearance tickets for Cairo Town Court.
· DWI/drugs: Koutenay E. Grillo-Barrington, 23, of Highland, was charged March 7 by Lloyd police with felony drunken driving and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on Milton Avenue. She was issued appearance tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
· Drugs: Jade M. Brink, 34, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Wallkill at 3:02 p.m. Monday on Tillson Avenue and charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Also arrested, at 2:45 p.m., was Kevin J. LaMastro, 26, of Hopewell Junction, who was charged with four misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance. Both were released with appearance tickets for Lloyd Town Court.
Red Hook
· DWI: Erik R. O’Leary, 20, of Tivoli, was arrested by Red Hook police at 4:55 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9 in the town and charged with two misdemeanor counts of drunken driving. A 20-yearold passenger, whom police did not identify, was charged with the violation of possession of marijuana. Both were issued appearance tickets for Red Hook Court.
Town of Rochester
· DWAI-drugs: Jeffrey R. Freer, 52, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 4:45 p.m. Monday on Granite Road in the town and charged with the misdemeanor of driving while ability impaired by drugs. Freer was released with an appearance ticket for Rochester Town Court.
Rosendale
·DWI: Brandon S. Smith, 29, of High Falls, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at about 2 a.m. Saturday on Main Street after a stop for vehicle and traffic violations and was charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Smith was released with appearance tickets for Rosendale Town Court.
Saugerties
· Assault/reckless endangerment/criminal mischief: Robert F. Kane Jr., 53, of 54 W. Bridge St., in Saugerties, was charged by Saugerties police Sunday with the misdemeanors of assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief. Police said that, during a domestic violence incident, Kane punched a window, causing the glass to shatter. They said a shard of glass got lodged in the victim’s eye. The victim was taken to Albany Medical Center to have the glass removed. Kane was released on $500 bail, pending further proceedings in Saugerties Village Court.
·DWI: Charles E. Appellonia, 47, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 5:01 p.m. Monday on U.S. Route 9W in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Appellonia was released with appearance tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
Tannersville
· Driving a snowmobile
while intoxicated: David Kornell, 55, of Haines Falls, was arrested by state police at Greenville at 12:56 a.m. Sunday on Lake Street and charged with the misdemeanor of driving a snowmobile while intoxicated and with the violation of refusing a breath test. Kornell was released with appearance tickets for Tannersville Village Court.
Wawarsing
· Drugs: Kristina A. Camacho, 31, of Florida, N.Y., was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 1:20 p.m. Thursday after a stop for traffic violations on state Route 52 and was charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and the violation of possession of marijuana. Camacho, a passenger in the vehicle, was in possession of crack cocaine, several hypodermic needles and marijuana, authorities said. Camacho was released with an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
