The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
City of Kingston
• Drugs: Amari J. Ward, 19, of Port Jervis, was charged Friday with criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, about 3:40 p.m. on Hasbrouck Avenue in Kingston, according to state police at Ulster.
• Drugs: Rachel M. Collins, 38, of Olivebridge, was arrested about 4:10 a.m. Saturday on Albany Avenue at Wrentham Street and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance driving while intoxicated, and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, all misdemeanors, and was also ticketed for speeding and having no inspection certificate, both infractions, according to state police at Ulster. Collins was issued a court appearance ticket.
Catskill
• Drugs: Anthony Wilson, 52, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11a.m. Friday at the Greene County Courthouse in Catskill and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony. Wilson was released to a third party pending a court appearance.
Lloyd
• Drugs: Rachel R. Tompkins, 20, of Newburgh, was arrested Friday by state police at Highland on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55in the town of Lloyd and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, both misdemeanors. She was also charged with having a controlled substance in nonoriginal container and unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations. Tompkins was issued a court appearance ticket.
Wawarsing
• Assault: An 18-year-old Napanoch boy, who was not identified by police, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:55p.m. Friday at 2Circle St. and was charged with assault, a felony, and criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. Further information was unavailable.
