Andrianna Moustakas of Kingston, a student at the State University of New York at Oneonta, was one of 12 students who spent spring break volunteeri­ng with Habitat for Humanity in Vero Beach, Florida.

The students worked with the Indian River Habitat for Humanity, helping build and refurbish homes and volunteer in any way they could.

Moustakas is majoring in biochemist­ry.

“Water by the Spoonful” is a stirring dramatizat­ion of one soldier’s return to civilian life. It was the winner of the 2012Pulitz­er Prize for Drama.

••• Two area residents attending the University at Albany — Ann Khan of New Paltz and Lucas Davison of Wallkill — were named Living-Learning Community world representa­tives.

World representa­tives are students who were selected during the fall semester to serve as peer leaders in the university’s Living-Learning Communitie­s. The students were identified and nominated by their Living-Learning Community faculty mentors and upperclass­men for having demonstrat­ed leadership within their communitie­s.

World representa­tives serve on an advisory board to Student Engagement throughout the academic year, communicat­e feedback from their peers to Student Engagement to improve the Living-Learning Communitie­s and help plan and facilitate social activities for Living-Learning Community students.

••• Ryne Perry of Shokan was named to the dean’s list at the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilita­tion Services in Pennsylvan­ia for the fall semester.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

A senior, Perry is majoring in communicat­ion sciences and disorders.

He is the son of Janelle and Fred Perry.
