William Keehan, 88, of Kingston
KINGSTON » William Keehan, 88, of Kingston, N.Y., passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018.
He was born Aug. 7, 1929, in Yonkers, N.Y., to William and Dorothy (Fick) Keehan.
Bill was married to his loving wife of 34 years, Jean (Barber) Keehan.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War as a combat musician. Bill, along with his wife Jean, owned and operated J&B Dance Center in Kingston for over 40 years. He was a member of the Imperial Society Teachers of Dance, as well as a member of Post 150 American Legion in Kingston.
Bill is survived by his wife Jean Keehan of Kingston; his sons, Greg
(Debra) Keehan of Fredericksburg, Va., and Kevin Keehan of Florida; his stepchildren, Brian (Flavia) Concklin of W. Harrison, N.Y., Marie (Patrick) Malloy of Riverton, Conn., and Bobby (Nancy) Tuskey of Savannah, Ga.; his grandchildren, Ryan, Samuel, Erin, Steven, Alicia, Felicia, Crystal, Christina, Connor, Justin, Kyle, and Tia; his great-grandchildren, Aylish, Ethan, Ashlyn, Olivia, Ruby, Liam, Penelope, Lily, Lilian, Briar, and Tyler; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, George Keehan.
Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday, March 27, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with the memorial taking place at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org.
