Cairo
• Drugs: Michael Shakey, 55, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on state Route 23 westbound at 4:50 a.m. Saturday on misdemeanor charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Further information was unavailable.
Catskill
• DWI: Eugene R. Edwards, 41, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:05 a.m. Sunday on state Route 23A on a misdemeanor drunken driving charge. Edwards was held pending arraignment.
Esopus
• DWI: Joseph A. Tissiera, 29, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster on U.S. Route 9W at 3:03 a.m. Sunday on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Tissiera was also issued a speeding ticket. He was released with tickets for Esopus Town Court.
Hunter
• Assault: Roland A. Stollsteimer, 50, of Manhasset, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:45 p.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor assault charge. Further information was unavailable.
Hyde Park
• DWI: Donald R. Daries, 42, of Hillsdale, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck on U.S. Route 9W at 9:20 p.m. Saturday on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Daries was released with tickets for Hyde Park Town Court.
New Baltimore
• DWI: Patrick J. McGoyne, 39, of West Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on 476 Shady Lane at 9:29 p.m. Saturday on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. He was also issued traffic tickets for operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate, operating an unregistered vehicle, a license plate violation and a license restriction violation. McGoyne was released with tickets for New Baltimore Town Court.
• Drugs: Lindsay R. Dougherty, 34, of Albany, was arrested by Thruway state police on the New York state Thruway at milepost 125.8 north on a felony charge of criminal possession of marijuana (greater than 10 pounds) and misdemeanor charges of manufacturing drug related paraphernalia and criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was also charged with the violations of possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container and unlawful marijuana possession. Dougherty was held at the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Rosendale
• Drugs: Jonathan A. Hutchinson, 37, of Schenectady, was arrested by Thruway state police on the New York state Thruway at milepost 87.1 north at 3:14 a.m. Saturday on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance narcotic drugs with intent to sell and criminal possession of narcotic drugs (four ounces or more), both felonies, and aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor. Hutchinson was released with tickets for Rosendale Town Court.
Tannersville
• DWI: Geoffroy Massuelle, 29, of New York City, was arrested by state police at Hunter at 3:40 a.m. Sunday at the Go Green Food Mart on state Route 23A on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Massuelle was held pending arraignment.
Town of Ulster
• Drugs: Thomas J. Perry, 36, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:22 a.m. Saturday on Flatbush Road and was charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a hypodermic instrument, all misdemeanors. He was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
Wallkill
• Contempt: Anthony Perez, 36, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:20 a.m. Sunday on a misdemeanor criminal contempt charge. Further information was unavailable.
