Catskill
• Drugs: Emidio Sandoval, 28, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday at the Greene County Courthouse on Main Street in Catskill and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony. Sandoval was held pending a court appearance,
• Drugs: Marcus J. Roussos, 19, of Copake, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:23 p.m. Tuesday on County Route 23B and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Roussos was issued a court appearance ticket.
Hunter
• Forged instrument: A 17-year-old White Plains boy, who was not identified by police, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:08 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 23A in Hunter and was charged with possession of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor. The boy was issued a court appearance ticket.
Plattekill
• Drugs: Anthony M. Madara, 29, of Clintondale, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:29 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanors, and having a controlled substance in a non-original container, a violation,. Police said he was arrested about 1:29 a.m. on U.S. Route 9W. Madara was later arrested at 344 Hull Ave. at 4:38 a.m. and was additionally charged with theft of services, a misdemeanor. He was issued a court appearance ticket.
Wallkill
• Drugs: Frank P. Smith, 56, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday at 55 Crystal Run Road and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny, both misdemeanors. He was released pending a court appearance.
