Scanlon’s Dry Cleaner’s wins Biddy League 14-18 title
Scanlon’s Dry Cleaner’s help off a second half surge by Woodsy’s II for a 51-47 win to take the Kingston Recreation League Biddy Basketball 14-18-year-old boys division championship.
Lester Morena scored 19 points and Jonte Wright added 12 to power Scanlon’s who led 27-17 at the half.
Justin White scored 18 points and Maleek Daley added 11 to pace Woodsy’s.
Postupack Valuations took the 11-13-year-old-division boys championship after roaring back from a 27-16 halftime deficit to beat Ulster Uniform Service 50-48.
Owen Niles scored 24 points and Connor McDermott added nine for Postupack who rode a 34-21 second half run to the win.
Ryan McCardle scored 31 points and Derek Constance added nine to pace Ulster Uniform.
Giovanni Smith scored 14 points to power Kingston Lions Club over Ulster Savings Bank 29-18 for the Boys 8-10 Division Crown.
Preston Provenzano scored six points to carry Ulster Savings Bank.
