Town of Ulster
· Forged instrument:
Sven M. Kehoe, 19, of Marlboro, was arrested by Ulster town police March 21 on a felony charge of possession of a forged instrument and a misdemeanor charge of possession of stolen property. Police said officers on March 12 went to an area business, which was not identified, for a report of a counterfeit money complaint. The suspect fled the area prior to officers arriving, but was identified as Kehoe following an investigation, police said. Police said Kehoe was found and arrested at about 3 p.m. March 21. He was arraigned in Ulster Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail pending a court appearance.
· Forged instrument:
Johara C. McIntyre, 24, of Brooklyn, was arrested March 21 on three felony counts of possession of a forged instrument and a misdemeanor charge of petit larceny. Also arrested was Daneen M. Blanding, 23, of Brooklyn, on a misdemeanor charge of conspiracy. Ulster town police said officers went to the local Kohl’s store on March 12 to help loss prevention personnel with possible fraudulent activity. An investigation determined that both McIntyre and Blanding had opened a Kohl’s credit card account under a fake name and made a purchase in the amount of $821.41, leading to their arrest, police said. McIntyre and Blanding were released pending a court appearance.
