City of Kingston

• Drugs: Melvin K. Howell, 45, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:38 a.m. Sunday on Albany Avenue on a charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. Howell was released with an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.

Catskill

• Drugs: Silas E. Miner, 24, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 5:53 p.m. Saturday on William Street on misdemeano­r charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and bail jumping. Miner was held pending arraignmen­t.

Coxsackie

• Drugs: Derek D. Ames, 23, of Schaghtico­ke, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:50 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9W at Mansion Street Extension on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Ames was released with a ticket for Coxsackie Town Court.

Durham

• Drugs: Thomas J. Kralovich, 30, of Acra, John H. Cater, 42, of Ballston Spa, and Joseph M. Sloyan, 27 of Catskill, were arrested by state police at Coxsackie on state Route 145 at 11:19 p.m. Saturday. Kralovich was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r; Cater was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and Sloyan was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of criminal possession of a weapon (firearm), all misdemeano­rs. Kralovich and Cater were both released with tickets for Durham Town Court. Sloyan’s status was unavailabl­e.

Esopus

• Criminal impersonat­ion: Angela K. Demonia, 41, of Lake Katrine, was arrested by state police at Highland at 8:40 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9W on charges of criminal impersonat­ion of another person and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeano­rs. Demonia was released with appearance tickets for Esopus Town Court.

Lloyd

• Drugs: Cody J. Valenti, 23, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:55 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 on the Mid-Hudson Bridge on misdemeano­r charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana (greater than 25 grams). Valenti was released with appearance tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

Marbletown

• DWAI-drugs: Larry G. Stokes, 40, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:05 a.m. Saturday on Lucas Turnpike on a felony charge of driving while ability impaired by drugs (previous conviction in 10 years). Stokes was released with a ticket for Marbletown Town Court.

Plattekill

• DWI: Alyse F. Moshe, 24, of Pelham, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:17 a.m. Sunday on state Route 32 on charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Moshe was released to a third party pending a court appearance.

Rhinebeck

• DWI: Jack F. Chrysler, 71, of Red Hook, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 3:50 p.m. Saturday on River Road on charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. He was also ticketed for crossing road hazard markings and imprudent speed. Chrysler was released with tickets for Rhinebeck Town Court.

Town of Rochester

• DWI: Duncan Bey, 75, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:50 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 209 on misdemeano­r charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Bey was also issued traffic tickets for failure to obey a traffic device, failure to keep right on a two-lane road, moving from lane unsafely and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway, and was released pending an appearance in Rochester Town Court.
