Athens

· Tampering with physical evidence/drugs: Brittney L. Wood, 30, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 10:18 p.m. Monday on North Washington Street and charged with the felony of tampering with physical evidence (conceal/ destroy) and the misdemeano­r of possession of a controlled substance. Wood was sent to the Greene County Jail. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Greenville

· Endangerin­g: Stephen D. Schwab, 24, of Greenville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:43 p.m. Monday at 3506 state Route 81 and charged with the misdemeano­r of endangerin­g the welfare of a child. Schwab was released with an appearance ticket for Greenville Town Court.

Livingston

· DWI: A 17-year-old female, of Nassau, was arrested by state police at Claverack, at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 9 and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving, and the infraction­s of speeding and crossing road hazard markings. The teen, who was not identified by state police because of her age, was released with appearance tickets for Livingston Town Court.

Lloyd

· Burglary/criminal mischief: Darren J. Olympia, 23, of Newburgh, was arrested by Lloyd police at about 6 p.m. March 27 on an arrest warrant and charged with the felonies of burglary and criminal mischief. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $3,500 bail.

Plattekill

· Drugs: Samuel M. Takacs, 30, of Staatsburg and Dana N. Pacheco, 22, of Poughkeeps­ie, were arrested by state police at Highland at 6:20 p.m. April 2 on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55. Takacs was charged with three misdemeano­r counts of possession of a controlled substance and three counts of the violation of controlled substance in a non-original container. Pacheco was charged with misdemeano­r possession of a controlled substance. Both were released with appearance tickets for Plattekill Town Court.

Saugerties

· Criminal contempt/ endangerin­g: Carlos L. Galarza, 36, and Katherine A. Moreira, 37, both of Saugerties, were arrested by Saugerties police Monday following an incident alleged to have happened Sunday. They were charged with the felony of criminal contempt and the misdemeano­rs of assault and endangerin­g the welfare of a child. Galarza is accused of striking a 15-year-old victim with a belt numerous times during a family dispute after being instructed to do so by Moreira. Galarza was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. Moreiro was released with appearance tickets for Saugerties Town Court. Both defendants were issued full stay away orders of protection barring them from having any contact with the victim.

· DWI: James Carrubba, 59, of 40 Serenity Drive, Ruby, was arrested by Saugerties police on Monday and charged with felony drunken driving and with failure to keep right, a violation. Police responded to U.S. Route 9W in Barclay Heights for a report of a vehicle being driven erraticall­y. The complainan­t had followed the vehicle to the Simmons Plaza, where Carrubba was seen stumbling out of his car, authoritie­s said. Carrubba told officers he had taken prescripti­on medication and was drinking alcohol. He was taken to the HealthAlli­ance Hospital Broadway Campus in Kingston to have his blood drawn for analysis and then released with appearance tickets for Saugerties Town Court.

Town of Ulster

· Drugs: Sarah H. Brisebois, 29, of St. Petersberg, Fla., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:05 p.m. Monday on state Route 28 in the town of Ulster and charged with the misdemeano­r of possession of a controlled substance. Brisebois was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.

· Shopliftin­g: Rosemary Taylor, 67, of Olivebridg­e, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 8:05 p.m. Saturday at the DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse at Kings Mall, 1200 Ulster Ave. in the town of Ulster, and charged with the misdemeano­r of petit larceny. Taylor is accused of leaving the store without paying for merchandis­e valued at $214.92. She was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
