Cairo

• Grand larceny: A 17-year-old boy from South Cairo was arrested by state police at Cairo at 6:23 p.m. Tuesday at the state police barracks, 208 McLaren Road Ext., and was charged with the grand larceny of property valued at more than $1,000, a felony. The boy, who was not identified by police, was released with an appearance ticket for Cairo Town Court.

Coxsackie

• DWI: Adam A. White, 24, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 10:57 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with drunken driving and driving while ability impaired by alcohol or drugs, both misdemeano­rs. White was released with appearance tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.

Livingston

• Menacing: James E. Jennings, 30, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday at the state police barracks at 3353 U.S. Route 9 and was charged with menacing with a weapon, a misdemeano­r. Jennings was released with an appearance ticket for Livingston Town Court. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Saugerties

• Weapon/menacing: Anthony L. Appollonia, 47, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police with assistance from state police at 7 p.m. Tuesday and was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing, both misdemeano­rs. Witnesses told police Appollonia grabbed a knife, raised it above his head and threatened to kill the individual he was arguing with. During a struggle, the victim was able to take the knife from Appollonia, cutting Appollonia’s hand in the process. Police said the cut was minor. Appollonia was treated at the scene by paramedics from Diaz Ambulance. He was arraigned in Saugerties Town Court and released after posting $250 bail. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
