The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Catskill
· Endangering: Maria C. Espinosa, 22, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:11 a.m. Monday in the town and charged with the misdemeanor of acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17. Espinosa was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
· Weapon: A 16-year-old Catskill male was arrested by Catskill police at police headquarters, 422Main St., at 6:12 a.m. April 10 and charged with the misdemeanor of criminal possession of a weapon (firearm/ knife). He was released with an appearance ticket. · Drugs: Toni R. Fishman, 49, of Westerly, was arrested by state police at Albany at 12:10 p.m. Sunday on the New York State Thruway in the town and was charged with the felonies of possession of a controlled substance (stimulants) and possession of a controlled substance (two counts), the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance (three counts) and possession of a weapon with intent to use, and the violations of controlled substance in a non-original container and possession of marijuana. Fishman was released from the Greene County Jail on Sunday after posting $5,000 bail. · Shoplifting: Alisha R. Libruk, 29, address unavailable, was arrested by Catskill police at 4:33 p.m. Wednesday at the Walmart store, 30 Catskill Commons, and charged with the misdemeanor of petit larceny. Libruk was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.
· Shoplifting: Roxanne Acevedo, 40, of Leeds, was arrested by Catskill police at 4:53 p.m. Thursday at the Walmart store, 30 Catskill Commons, and charged with the misdemeanor of petit larceny. Acevelo was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.
Town of Ulster
· Drugs: Antonio J. Cepeda, 28, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:30 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Route 9W in the town and charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and with violating parole. Cepeda was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail. Additional information was unavailable.
· DWI: Stanley M. Romash, 53, of Kingston, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 6:19 p.m. Friday and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving. Romash was stopped on Memorial Drive after an erratic vehicle complaint. He was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
· Drugs: Kilwa Casey, 49, of Dunellen, N.J., was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 1 p.m. Friday on Ulster Avenue in the town and charged with the misdemeanor of possession of a controlled substance (concentrated cannabis) and the violation of possession of marijuana. Casey was released with appearance tickets for Ulster Town Court.
· Drugs: Jason P. Cruz, 25, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 1:54 p.m. Thursday on Ulster Avenue in the town and charged with misdemeanor possession of a marijuana. Cruz was stopped initially for a traffic infraction. He was released with appearance tickets for Ulster Town Court.
