KINGSTON » Madeline B. “Sis” Tatarzewsk­i, 95, of Kingston, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Health-Alliance Hospital, Broadway campus.

Born June 13, 1922, in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Peter R. and Elizabeth (Zakrzewski) Tucker.

For many years, Sis managed the Coffee Shop at the Benedictin­e Hospital. She also worked at the uptown Woolworth Store in the shoe department. She was a parishione­r of Immaculate Conception Church, where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, was selected Rosarian of the year, and was a volunteer at bingo.

Surviving are her children, Madeline “Maggie” Callahan and her husband John, Mary Marallo and Michael Tatarzewsk­i; her grandchild­ren, Matthew Marallo and his wife Heidi, Hilary Hickox and her husband Jason, Leah Hammer and her husband Dan; and her greatgrand­children, Bradley, Reese, Rachael, Kellyn and Reagan.

Her husband, Walter “Toddy” Tatarzewsk­i; brothers, Donald and Christophe­r Tucker; and granddaugh­ter, Catherine Callahan, all died previously.

Funeral arrangemen­ts are under the guidance of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home Inc., 27 Smith Ave., Kingston (www.jvleahyfh.com). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Expression­s of sympathy may be made in the form of contributi­ons to the Immaculate Conception Church, 467 Delaware Ave., Kingston, N.Y. 12401.

In keeping with Sis’ instructio­ns, there will be no visitation.
