City of Kingston

• Drugs: Richard C. Pugh, 31, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday on Furnace Street and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and possession of marijuana, a violation. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

• Attempted arson: Briana Elting, 46, of Kingston, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday at an unidentifi­ed residence in the city and was charged with attempted arson, criminal mischief and menacing, all misdemeano­rs. Her arrest followed a report of a domestic dispute during which she allegedly threatened the victim with a knife, broke a garage window and set a fire inside the residence. Elting was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Cairo

• Burglary: An unidentifi­ed 18-year-old Wallkill woman was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday at the state police barracks at 78R McLaren Ext. and was charged with burglary, a felony. She was released with a ticket for Cairo Town Court.

• Obstructin­g: Zachary Garb, 29, of Waldwick, N.J., was arrested by state police at Catskill at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at 678 Winter Clove Road and was charged with obstructin­g government­al administra­tion, resisting arrest and trespassin­g, all misdemeano­rs. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Catskill

• Drugs: Edward J. Lier, 24, of Wallkill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 320 Main St. in the village and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony. Lier was sent to the Greene County Jail pending a court appearance. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

• DWI: Claudio A. Dominguez-Tevez, 43, of North Bergen, N.J., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday on the New York State Thruway and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a bloodalcoh­ol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs, and with speeding, an infraction. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Coxsackie

• Drugs: David I. Mayforth, 33, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:53 p.m. Tuesday on Adams Road and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and possession of marijuana, a violation. Mayforth was released with tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.

Esopus

• Weapon/drugs: Robert D. Adriana, 32, of Esopus, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 11:39 a.m. Thursday and was charged with possession of a weapon and possession of marijuana, both misdemeano­rs, after deputies stopped his vehicle on U.S. Route 9W in Port Ewen for a traffic infraction. Deputies found Adriana with a wooden baton and marijuana. He was also found to be on parole and supervised by the state Department of Correction­s and Community Supervisio­n. Adriana was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail pending a court appearance.

Red Hook

• Drugs: Christophe­r S. Marchant, 26, of Hyde Park, was arrested by Red Hook police at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot on U.S. Route 9 and was charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and with misdemeano­r criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police, who responded to a call reporting a suspicious subject, found Marchant with heroin and cocaine. Marchant was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail pending a court appearance.

Rosendale

• DWI: Tracy D. Cole, 54, of Rosendale, was arrested by Rosendale police at 10:15 p.m. Sunday on Keator Avenue and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol content exceeding 0.18 percent, both misdemeano­rs, and with insufficie­nt lighting, an infraction. Cole was released with a ticket for Rosendale Town Court.

Shawangunk

• Unlicensed driving: Danny A. Ebneter, 31, of Walden, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 5:30 a.m. Sunday in Shawangunk and was charged with aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony; and criminal mischief, a misdemeano­r. Ebneter’s arrest followed a report of an unwanted male at a residence. Ebneter allegedly fled and was stopped a short time later. He was driving with a suspended driver’s license and had allegedly damaged a vehicle during a dispute, deputies said. Ebneter was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail pending a court appearance.

• Drugs: Elaina M. Pereira, 21, of Wallkill, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 9:20 a.m. Sunday and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. Deputies said they entered Pereira’s residence to follow up on an investigat­ion from the previous evening and saw heroin in plain view. She was released with a ticket for Shawangunk Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• Resisting arrest: Robin M. Giammichel­e, 35, of Napanoch, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies Tuesday at an unspecifie­d time and was charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeano­r, and with trespass and disorderly conduct, both violations. Giammichel­e allegedly became disorderly at the Ulster County Department of Social Services and refused to leave after being asked by deputies. She was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.

Wawarsing

• DWAI-drugs: Dylan T. Beaver, 24, of Napanoch, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 11:20 a.m. Saturday and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeano­rs. Deputies found Beaver unconsciou­s in the driver seat of a vehicle parked at the Napanoch Post Office. After several attempts to rouse him, they were able to wake him, but found that he had been driving under the influence of drugs he possessed without a valid prescripti­on. Beaver was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.

Town of Rochester

• Endangerin­g: Willie J. Royal, 40, of Accord, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 7:32 a.m. Friday on U.S. Route 209 and was charged with endangerin­g the welfare of a child and criminal mischief, both misdemeano­rs, and with harassment, a violation. His arrest followed a reported domestic dispute during which Royal allegedly grabbed another individual by the face and hair while that person was holding an infant. Royal was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500 bail pending a court appearance.
