The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

Durham

• DWI/drugs: Lawrence G. Smith, 58, of Windham, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on county Route 27 on charges of drunken driving (previous conviction in 10 years), operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent and aggravated unlicensed operation (alcohol), all felonies, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r. He was also charged with unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Smith was released pending a court appearance.

Greenville

• Endangerin­g: Denis P. Clark, 34, and Michelle P. Kearsing, 26, both of Freehold, were arrested by state police at Catskill at 4 p.m. Saturday at 264 Red Mills Road. Kearsing was charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury with a weapon, a felony, and endangerin­g the welfare of a child, a misdemeano­r. Clark was charged with endangerin­g the welfare of a child, a misdemeano­r. Both were held pending arraignmen­t.

Olive

• DWI: Heidi E. Randall, 32, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:30 p.m. Saturday on state Route 28A at County Route 3 on charges of drunken driving (previous conviction in 10 years), a felony, and obstructin­g government­al administra­tion and resisting arrest, both misdemeano­rs. Randall was also issued traffic tickets for failure to keep right on a two-lane road, moving from lane unsafely, driving on a shoulder, failure to stop at a stop sign and refusal to take a breath test. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Wawarsing

• Contraband in prison: Destiny M. Rodriguez, 20, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:40 a.m. Saturday on Institutio­n Road on charges of introducin­g contraband into prison, a misdemeano­r, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Rodriguez was released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.

• Drugs: Kashaun B. Carlie, 32, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:04 a.m. Saturday at 750 Berme Road and was charged with two counts each of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug parapherna­lia (scales) and one count each of criminal use of drug parapherna­lia (packaging) and criminal possession of marijuana greater than 25 grams, all misdemeano­rs. Carlie was released with appearance tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
