Corina Pascucci, of Hunter, N.Y., has been awarded certification as Registered Municipal Clerk by the New York State Town Clerks Association for attaining educational, experience and participatory requirements.
She has been town clerk since January 1998 and is also a member of the Town Clerks Association.
The designation was achieved through a combination of education and leadership in various professional and civic organizations. •••
Bard College President Leon Botstein, of Annandaleon-Hudson, has been awarded an honorary doctor of science degree by the Watson School of Biological Sciences at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, Cold Spring Harbor.
At its 15th commencement ceremony on April 29, the school cited Botstein for being an outstanding educator, a remarkable academic leader, and a giant in American music.

Ten Broeck Commons, a skilled nursing facility in Lake Katrine, has announced the most recent winners of its Shining Stars of Service Award, which recognizes employees who provide outstanding customer service to residents and family members.
Nominated through letters written by residents and their family members, the winners are: Ashley Sterritt, of Accord; Dhyan Singh, of Saugerties; and Kenny Johnson, Michelle Lyons, and Marissa Curtis, of Kingston.
