Kingstion rallies to defeat Millbrook

Norah Prizzi scored five goals, including two decisive tallies in the final 4:30, to lead Kingston High to a 12-10 comeback girls lacrosse win over Millbrook Monday.

Millbrook led 10-7 with 8:30 left, but Kingston scored five unanswered goals to pull out the victory.

Kate Lord scored twice, then Prizzi tied with 4:25 remaining and put the (91) Tigers ahead with 1:12 to play. Meghan Gavis added an insurance goal with one second left on the clock.

Lord and Gavis both had two goals and an assist, Grace Gavis had a goal and two assists, Analiese Amato and Emily Schatzel both scored, and Prizzi also had an assist for Kingston.

Erin Fox had four goals, Kaitlyn Daly three goals and three assists, Brooke Babbitt added a goal and two assists, Cat Halpin and Hannah Fisher both scored and Isa Rosenzweig had an assist for (8-2) Millbrook.

Kingston goalkeeper Grace Perry had eight saves, while Claire Martell made 10 for the Blazers. Red Hook 20, New Paltz 6

At Red Hook, Bailey Jordan and Syr Esposito combined for 13 goals to lead the Raiders. Jordan scored seven times and Esposito, who also won 10 draw controls, tallied six goals. They each also had one assist.

Ally McCrudden and Stasis Giannoulis had two goals and one assist apiece, Julia Bemis scored twice and Hannah Campagna once for Red Hook. Giannoulis also caused four turnovers.

Erin Metzger had five goals and Danielle Takacs one for New Paltz.

Raider goalie Emily Feller stopped four shots, while Hannah Goichman stopped eight for the Huguenots.
