City of Kingston

• Drugs: Trey L. Anderson, 24, of Kingston was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:59 p.m. Wednesday on Newkirk Avenue on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released with a ticket to appear in Kingston City Court.

Town of Ulster

• Grand larceny: Alida E. Brown, 34, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:19 a.m. Wednesday at their barracks on U.S. Route 209 on a felony charge of grand larceny. She was released pending an appearance in Ulster Town Court. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Livingston

• DWI: Rupert J. Williams, 59, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 12:40 a.m. Thursday on state Route 82 on charges of drunken driving, a misdemeano­r, and speeding and failure to keep right, both infraction­s. He was released to a third party with tickets to appear in Livingston Town Court.

Ulster Park

• Mischief: Charrissie­e A. Washington, 56, of Highland, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies Wednesday on charges of criminal mischief, a felony; criminal obstructio­n of breathing, a misdemeano­r; and harassment and trespass, both violations. Also arrested were Joseph A. Wheeler, 23, and Michael E. Ellsworth, 29, both of Highland, each on charges of assault, a misdemeano­r, and trespass, a violation. Deputies said they responded to a report of an assault at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday at an address in Ulster Park. When they arrived, deputies said, they found the victim, who had suffered apparent facial injuries. Deputies said the suspects’ vehicle was found a short time later on U.S. Route 9W and the suspects were detained by Lloyd town police. Authoritie­s determined that Washington, Wheeler and Ellsworth were involved in a fight with the victim, resulting in injuries to the victim and damage to the victim’s property, deputies said. All three suspects were arraigned in Esopus Town Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail — Washington in lieu of $10,000 bail, Wheeler in lieu of $2,500 bail and Ellsworth in lieu of $7,500 bail.

Wawarsing

• Drugs: Kevin J. Grogan, 30, of East Nassau, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 209 on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released with a ticket to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.
