Ellenville walks off with 10th win

Christian Stinehour belted a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth inning to drive in Jason Lonstein and lift Ellenville High over S.S. Seward, 13-12, in a non-league baseball game Wednesday.

The Devils improved to 10-6 overall — their first 10win season in 22 years.

The Spartans trailed 9-6 before scoring six runs in the fifth to take a 12-9 lead, Ellenville answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning before tying it in the sixth, 12-12, with another run.

Donovan Decker threw 4 1/3 innings of no-hit relief while striking out eight and allowing no runs for the win. Lonstein, Justin Guiliano, Tiler Ferentheil and Michael Clay each had to hits to lead the Devils in the win.

Chris Rahm doubled and had three RBI, and Joe Stangeby had two singles to lead (16-3) Seward. Marlboro 11, Pine Plains 2

At Marlboro, Sam Mongelli drove in three runs with a pair of doubles, Mike Greco knocked in two runs and Alex Leduc, Brendan Mahusky and Eric Grzechowsk­i each had a RBI to lead the Dukes.

Mike Paolo, who got the win, struck out five.

Adam Funk had a double and one RBI and Tyler Funk drove in the other run for Pine Plains. Highland 11, Rhinebeck 3

At Highland, Dylan Warren struck out 11 over six innings to record the win for the (7-9) Huskies.

Dario Divalentin­o went 4 for 4, with a double and an RBI to fuel the offense, while Kevin Brennie (2 for 4, double, two RBI) and Max Vidal (double, RBI) also contribute­d to the win.

Lex Krombichle­r went 3 for 3, with a triple and a run scored, to lead the (104) Hawks.
