Town of Ulster
· Grand larceny: Lorraine A. Thomas, 51, of Kingston, was charged Thursday with grand larceny, a felony, at about 5:48 p.m., according to the Town of Ulster Police Department. An investigation conducted by members of the Detective Division revealed that Thomas made an unauthorized credit card transaction while employed at an unidentified area business, police said. Thomas was issued an appearance ticket and released. She is due back in Town of Ulster Court on June 13.
· Drugs: Justin L. Kelley, 30, of Kingston, was charged Friday at about 6:12 p.m. with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, according to the town of Ulster Police Department. Kelley was arrested on Washington Avenue after the vehicle he was driving was pulled over, police said. An investigation revealed that Kelley was in possession of marijuana and illegal prescription pills, police said. Kelley was released on an appearance ticket, pending his return to Town of Ulster Court on June 6.
· Petit larceny: Christina M. Braden, 31, of Kingston, was charged Thursday with petit larecny, a misdemeanor, according to the Town of Ulster Police Department. Police accused Braden of stealing $199.89 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart Department Store. Braden was additionally charged with
trespass a violation, police said. Braden was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Town of Ulster Court on June 5, police said.
· Petit larceny: Olivia J. Wimberley, 24, of Saugerties, was charged Thursday with petit larency, a misdemeanor, according to the Town of Ulster Police Department. She was accused of stealing $29.19 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart Department Store, police said. Wimberley is due back in Town of Ulster Court on June 12, police said.
