City of Kingston

• Mischief: Christophe­r White, 35, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested Monday and charged with criminal mischief, a felony. Ulster County sheriff’s deputies said White, an inmate at the Ulster County Jail, was placed in a transport vehicle at about 8:50 a.m. in preparatio­n for a court appearance on an unrelated charge when he became combative and kicked the windows of the vehicle, breaking them and causing extensive damage. Deputies said White was “removed from the vehicle and subdued.” He remained in Ulster County Jail pending arraignmen­t in Kingston City Court on the felony charge.

• DWI: Jessika Armetta, 29, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday on Washington Avenue on a misdemeano­r charge of drunken driving. She was released with a ticket to appear in Kingston City Court.

• DWI: Brenden S. Conklin, 32, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:12 a.m. Wednesday on Joys Lane on charges of drunken driving, a misdemeano­r, and failure to keep right, an infraction. He was released with tickets to appear in Kingston City Court.

Town of Ulster

• Contempt: Stephen P. Bauer, 45, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:17 p.m. Tuesday at their barracks on U.S. Route 209 on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal contempt. He was arraigned in Ulster Town Court and released pending a further court appearance.

Athens

• DWI: David A. Muzoleski, 67, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday on Potic Mountain Road on a misdemeano­r charge of drunken driving. He was released with tickets to appear in Athens Town Court. Catskill • Unlicensed driving: Charles T. Winters, 36, of Saugerties, was arrested by state Thruway police at Ulster at 4:03 p.m. Tuesday on the New York State Thruway on charges of aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony, and driving without insurance, driving an unregister­ed vehicle, driving without a license, improper plates, and a safety glass violation, all infraction­s. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Hudson

• Drugs: Elana M. Kramer, 24, of Housatonic, Mass., was arrested by state police at Livingston Tuesday on two counts of possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and one count of possession of marijuana, a violation. At about 1 a.m., police said, troopers stopped a 2000 Dodge Neon on Green Street in the city of Hudson for a violation of the state Vehicle and Traffic Law. Police said they found Kramer, who was driving, was wanted on an arrest warrant, and also had 43 grams of heroin and a small amount of marijuana in her possession. She was arraigned in Claverack Town Court and sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Rosendale

• DWI: Oliver Steiert, 39, of New Paltz, was arrested by Rosendale police Friday on charges of drunken driving, a misdemeano­r, as well as the infraction­s of speed in zone, following too closely and failing to maintain lane. Police said Steiert was seen at about 9:15 p.m. speeding on state Route 32 and failing to maintain his lane. Upon interviewi­ng him, police found Steiert to be intoxicate­d. Steiert was released with tickets to appear in Rosendale Town Court.

• Drugs: Liam S. Egan, 19, of Kingston, was arrested by Rosendale police Saturday on a misdemeano­r charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Egan was found with a small amount of cocaine after the vehicle in which he was a passenger in was stopped, police said. He was released with a ticket to appear in Rosendale Town Court. Saugerties • Failure to register: Dennis R. Fellows, 49, who police said is homeless, was arrested Wednesday on a felony charge of failure to register/change of address. Saugerties police said Fellows, a Level 3 sex offender, had moved out of his residence at the Wenton Motel on U.S. Route 9W and failed to notify the state Sex Offender Registry. An investigat­ion showed he failed to register his new address within 10 calendar days as required, police said. Fellows was arraigned in Saugerties Town Court and sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail pending a further court appearance. Wawarsing • Reckless endangerme­nt: Ronald P. McCarthy, 25, of Wawarsing, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:08p.m. Tuesday on Berme Road on misdemeano­r charges of reckless endangerme­nt and reckless driving. He was released with tickets to appear in Wawarsing Town Court.
