City of Kingston

• Drugs: Beatrice V. CapenGuldy, 25, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:20 p.m. Friday at Clinton and Albany avenues and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r; and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Capen-Guldy was released with an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.

Catskill

• DWI: Brittney K. Ether, 29, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:01 a.m. Saturday on state Route 23 on misdemeano­r charges of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Ether was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Contempt: An 18-year-old Coxsackie man was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:05p.m. Friday at 12075U.S. Route 9W and was charged with two counts of criminal contempt and one count each of assault and stalking, all misdemeano­rs. Police did not identify the suspect. He was held pending arraignmen­t.

Durham

• Family offense: Tyler J. Cashman, 33, of Durham, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:10 a.m. Saturday at 137 Sherwood Forest Road on a felony charge of aggravated family offense and the misdemeano­rs of endangerin­g the welfare of a child and assault (recklessly causing physical injury). Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Ellenville

• Contraband: Shakim Lloyd, 22, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 9:28p.m. Friday at 108Canal St. on a felony charge of prison contraband. Lloyd was held pending arraignmen­t. • Contraband: Jaquan Baker, 27, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:55 a.m. Friday at 108 Canal St. on a felony charge of prison contraband. Baker was released to a third party pending a court appearance.

Gardiner

• DWI: Solomon D. Lewis, 39, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland at 6:34 p.m. Friday on state Route 208 on charges of drunken driving (previous conviction in 10 years) and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08percent (prior offense), both felonies, and reckless driving and fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, both misdemeano­rs. He was also issued traffic tickets for leaving the scene of a property damage motor vehicle accident and failure to obey a police officer. Lewis was held at the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail pending a court appearance.

Greenville

• DWAI drugs: Francis J. Keenan, 92, of Durham, was arrested by state police at Catskill on state Route 32 at 10:41 p.m. Friday on a misdemeano­r charge of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. He was also issued a traffic ticket for failure to use the designated lane. Keenan was released with an appearance ticket for Greenville Town Court.

Hunter

• DWI: Jessica E. Proper, 24, of Lanesville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:01 a.m. Saturday on state Route 23 on misdemeano­r charges of drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving. Proper was released with appearance tickets for Hunter Town Court.

Hyde Park

• Unlawfully dealing with

a child: Dona Paese, 59, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 6:16 p.m. Friday at the Krauszer Food Store at 1106 Violet Ave. on a misdemeano­r charge of unlawfully dealing with a child. Paese was released with an appearance ticket for Hyde Park Town Court.

• Unlawfully dealing with a child: Ali Alyasjin, 54, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 5:50 p.m. Friday at 433 Violet Ave. on a misdemeano­r charge of unlawfully dealing with a child. Alyasjin was released with an appearance ticket for Hyde Park Town Court.

Saugerties

• Unlawful imprisonme­nt: Ryan C. Wheatley, 29, of Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties Police Saturday on a misdemeano­r charge of unlawful imprisonme­nt. Police said they responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a home at 123 Partition St. in the village after Wheatley refused to leave his exgirlfrie­nd’s home following a breakup earlier in the week. Authoritie­s said Wheatley was staying elsewhere since the breakup, but returned to the home and refused to leave. Police said he then attempted to prevent the victim from calling 911 or leaving her bedroom. Wheatley was arraigned in Saugerties Village Court and was released after the court issued a full stayaway order of protection on behalf of the victim. Wheatley is due back in Saugerties Village Court June 11.
