The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.

City of Kingston

· Drugs: Megan C. Allweiler, 25, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10 p.m. Sunday on Broadway and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Allweiler was released with appearance tickets for Kingston City Court.

· Drugs: Jamilyn Mayo, 21, of West Hurley, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10 p.m. Sunday on Broadway and was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. Mayo was released with an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.

Cairo

· DWI/DWAI-alcohol

or drugs: Alexander M. Zukowsky, 31, of Stamford, Conn., was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 2:09 a.m. Monday on state Route 23 and was charged with drunken driving and driving while ability impaired by alcohol or drugs, both misdemeanors. Zukowsky was released with appearance tickets for Cairo Town Court.

Catskill

· Drugs: Kahleik S. Dickson, 25, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 10:50 p.m. Sunday in Jefferson Heights and was charged with possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, a misdemeanor. Dickson was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Coxsackie

· Drugs: Robert C. Davenport, 36, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:20 p.m. Sunday on Mansion Street in the village and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Davenport was released with appearance tickets for Coxsackie Village Court.

Gardiner

· DWI: Anthonia I. Geracos, 52, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:55 p.m. Sunday on Albany Post Road and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Geracos was released with appearance tickets for Gardiner Town Court.

Hunter

· Drugs: Daniel S. Jutrzenka, 39, of Hunter, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:09 p.m. Sunday at 13 Scribner Hollow Road and was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a hypodermic instrument, all misdemeanor, and the violation of failing to respond to an appearance ticket. Jutrzenka was sent to jail pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.

Shawangunk

· Drugs:

Charles BrockCasey, 30, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Poughkeeepsie at 8:15 p.m. Saturday on state Route 52 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and possession of marijuana, a violation. Also arrested was Sean M. Keenan, 35, of Highland, who was charged with possession of marijuana, a violation. Both were released with appearance tickets for Shawangunk Town Court.

Wawarsing

· Endangering/contempt: Cassandra M. Phillips, 26, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 9:23 a.m. Sunday and was charged with criminal contempt, a felony; endangering the welfare of a child and reckless endangerment,

both misdemeanors, and with disorderly conduct and harassment, both violations. Phillips was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,500 bail.

· DWAI-drugs: Jason Lawrence, 21, of Napanoch, and Jonathan Hernandez, 22, of Napanoch, were arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at state police barracks, 7500 U.S. Route 209. Lawrence was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors; Hernandez was charged with misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were released with appearance tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
