CYCLING 13th Annual Tour de Kingston and Ulster: June 24, starting from Forsyth Park, Kingston. Rides for all ages and abilities. Road Rides are 25 and 50 miles. Road and Trail Rides are 10, 18 and 32 miles and the Kingston Family Ride is a flat, easy 5 miles. Family Ride is free and is escorted by the race’s safety marshals and the Kingston Police Department. Barbecue lunch, raffle and scholarship awards follow the rides. Clinics CYO “Hook a Kid on Golf” Summer Program: Sponsored by the Ulster County CYO at Green Acres Golf Club with pro John Magaletta. The Green Level Training Program was created for ages 10-16 who have been introduced to the sport, but are not quite ready for on-course day. Designed for children ages 10 and older who have some experience. Children younger than 10 are allowed with a skills evaluation. Choice of two sessions: July 9-13 or July 23-27 (both from 8:3011 a.m. each day). Limited to 16 golfers per session. Cost: $200.
