City of Kingston

• Petit larceny: Jeris B. Lincoln, 29, homeless, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Security Officer Dennis McGuire and Ulster County Sheriff’s Deputy Deborah Prusack on Wednesday, charged with petit larceny, a misdemeano­r. McGuire, a part-time security officer, was on the job at the County Office Building on Fair Street when he was alerted by a witness that someone had removed a set of commemorat­ive military dog tags from the war memorial in front of the building. McGuire and Prusack began looking for the suspect and found him walking down Fair Street, allegedly wearing the stolen dog tags. Lincoln was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $100 bail with an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.

• DWI: Rene M. Castellano­s, 44, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:04 p.m. Thursday on Joys Lane and was charged with aggravated unlicensed driving (alcohol) and driving with a bloodalcoh­ol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both felonies; drunken driving, a misdemeano­r; and the infraction­s of driving without a license

and illegal signal while parked. Castellano­s was released with appearance tickets for Kingston City Court.

• DWI: David P. Sahloff, 44, of Ulster Park, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 12:28 a.m. Friday on Clinton Avenue and was charged with driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, a misdemeano­r; and with the infraction­s of failing to stop and crossing road hazard markings. Sahloff was released with appearance tickets for Kingston City Court.

Athens

• Drugs: An 18-year-old Catskill man was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11:20 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and with possession of marijuana, a violation. He was released with appearance tickets for Athens Town Court.

Coxsackie

• Endangerin­g: Henry V. Sprague, 32, of West Coxsackie, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 3:12 p.m. Thursday in the town and was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of acting in a manner injurious to a child under the age of 17. Sprague was jailed pending a court appearance. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Red Hook

• DWI: Arben Dushaj, 33, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by Red Hook police at 10:32 p.m. Saturday on North Road in the town and was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of drunken driving. He was released with appearance tickets for Red Hook Town Court.

• Drugs: Chad C. Cayea, 32, of Pine Plains, was arrested by Red Hook police Saturday at 11 p.m. on South Broadway in the village and was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Cayea was released with appearance tickets for Red Hook Village Court.

Saugerties

• Aggravated family of

fense/endangerin­g: Isaiah Fletcher, 22, of 55 Plenty St., Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police on Thursday and was charged with aggravated family offense, a felony; and with assault and endangerin­g the welfare of a child, both misdemeano­rs. Fletcher’s arrest followed a reported domestic dispute where, according to a female victim, two parties had gotten into a verbal argument over the physical discipline of Fletcher’s child. Police said Fletcher reportedly punched the victim repeatedly, causing a laceration to her nose and swelling to her eye. The confrontat­ion allegedly took place in front of four children who were at the residence. Fletcher was released with appearance tickets for Saugerties Town Court and an order of protection was issued.

• Drugs: Selena L. Aho, 39, of 83 Morgan Hill Road, Hurley, was arrested by Saugerties police on Friday and was charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeano­r; and was processed on an outstandin­g arrest warrant. As police took Aho into custody on the arrest warrant, they found she possessed a hypodermic needle. She was turned over to the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office for processing.

Town of Ulster

• Drugs: Candace M. Lewis, 60, of Ellenville, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 12:30 p.m. Thursday and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r, and possession of marijuana, a violation; along with vehicle and traffic violations. Lewis’ arrest followed a traffic stop on East Chester Street. Police said Lewis possessed a quantity of hashish and marijuana and was released with appearance tickets for Ulster Town Court.
