VFW earns Upper B victory over Lady Legends

KINGSTON, N.Y. » Trailing 6-5, a five-spot in the top of the seventh helped Lift VFW to a 10-6 victory over the Lady Legends in a Kingston Recreation League women’s softball Upper B Division contest.

Alisha Benoit doubled, hit three triples and had two RBI and Kaitlyn Pillsworth doubled, hit two singles and drove in two runs to lead VFW.

Kelly Jones and Jen Esposito each hit three triples to pace the Lady Legends.

Andrea Clausi tripled, doubled and hit three RBI as Perfezione Painting I edged COBA 17-16 in an A Division contest.

Jamie DeCicco added four singles and knocked in four runs to lead Perfezione I

Jamie Kessick hit two doubles, a triple and two singles and drove in two Runs and Amanda Morano tripled, hit two doubles and two singles and had four RBI to carry Coba.

A five spot in the bottom of the second and two more in the fourth helped key a 7-3 victory for Miss Shannah’s Place over Sawyer Motors.

Shannah Drake doubled and drove in three runs and Rebecca Brocco belted a triple to lead Miss Shannahs.
