Athens
• Drugs: Breanna N. Smith, 28, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:38 p.m. Friday at 9281 U.S. Route 9W and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic instrument, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. She was ordered held pending a court appearance.
• DWAI-drugs, aggravated
unlicensed driving: Drew Hulbert, 24, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 8:38 p.m. Friday at 9281 U.S. Route 9W following a traffic stop and was charged with felony aggravated unlicensed driving and the misdemeanors of driving while ability impaired by drugs and possession of a hypodermic instrument. He was ordered held pending a court appearance.
Esopus
• Drugs: Stefan R. Winecoff, 34, of Glasco, was arrested by state police at Highland at 10:10 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was issued an appearance ticket for Esopus Town Court.
Hunter
• Assault: Daniel M. Muro, 55, of Hunter, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 1:03 p.m. Friday at 84 Maple Ave. and was charged with felony assault. He was released pending a court appearance in Hunter Town Court. Further information was unavailable.

• Drugs: Randolph Dedrick, 27, of Hyde Park, was arrested by state police at Highland at 5:30 p.m. Friday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with felony and misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Roberson, 54, of Rock Hill, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was issued an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI: Sarina D. Penichet, 54, of Milan, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:50 a.m. Saturday and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, following a traffic stop on state Route 28. She was issued an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
