City of Kingston
· DWI: Kevin M. Williams, 64, of Kingston, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. Monday by state police at Ulster and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 percent following a traffic stop on Albany Avenue. He was issued appearance tickets for Kingston City Court.
Cairo
· DWI: Mark A. Homeyer, 60, of Leeds, was arrested at 10:50 p.m. Monday and charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content of more than .08 percent following a traffic stop on Main Street by state police at Catskill. He was issued an appearance ticket for Cairo Town Court.
Lloyd
· Weapon: Dominick V. Anselmo, 24, of Highland, was arrested June 24 by Lloyd police on a felony charge of possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance and a violation charge of possession of marijuana. He was arraigned in Lloyd Town Court and sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
· Contempt: Fadi S. Tawdrous, 30, of Poughkeepsie was arrested June 27 on a misdemeanor charge of criminal contempt. Lloyd police said Tawdrous was accused of violating an order of protection. He was arraigned in Lloyd Town Court and sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $750 bail.
· DWAI: Gary S. Lessard, 29, of Danbury, Conn., was arrested Tuesday on misdemeanor charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs and possession of a controlled substance. He was also charged with the violation of possession of marijuana. Lloyd police said Lessard was arrested following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 9W in the hamlet of Highland. He was released on tickets to appear in Lloyd Town Court.
· Drugs: Douglas D. Harris, 46, of Highland was arrested Sunday on misdemeanor charges of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed driving. He was arrested following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 in the hamlet of Highland, Lloyd police said. Harris was released on tickets to appear in Lloyd Town Court.
· Drugs: James A. White, 38, of Poughkeepsie was arrested Sunday by Lloyd police on a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was released on a ticket to appear in Lloyd Town Court.
Olive
· DWI: David C. Mills, 48, of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was arrested at 10:37 p.m. Monday on state Route 28 by state police at Ulster on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and possession of a controlled substance, as well as the violation of possession of a controlled substance in a non-original container and drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway. He was held pending arraignment.
Red Hook
· Obstruction of breathing, endangering the welfare of
achild: Christopher Struse, 32, of Red Hook was arrested at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday and charged with two counts of obstruction of breathing and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident that occurred on July 2. Authorities said that, during that incident Struse, choked both the victim reporting the crime and a child under the age of 6. He was sent to Dutchess County jail on $1,000 cash bail.
Taghkanic
· Drugs: Darell Robinson Jr., 28, of Pittsfield, Mass., and Clifford D. Fields, 44, of New Lebanon were arrested Tuesday and each charged with possession of a controlled substance, a felony. Robinson was additionally charged with violation possession of marijuana. State police at Livingston said troopers conducted a traffic stop at approximately 3 a.m. on a 2013 Honda Accord on the Taconic State Parkway. While interviewing the occupants, a strong odor of marijuana was detected, police said. Police said further investigation revealed approximately 1.7 grams of marijuana and more than 56 grams of crack cocaine. Robinson and Fields were arraigned in Livingston Town Court and sent to Columbia County Jail, each in lieu of $15,000 bail.
Wawarsing
· DWAI: Kevin R. Hunter, 39, of Kerhonkson, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. Monday and charged by state police at Wawarsing with the misdemeanors of operating a motor vehicle while ability impaired by drugs, possession of a hypodermic instrument and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55. He was issued an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
