KINGSTON » Frederick P. Schryver, 52, of Station Road, died unexpected­ly at home Monday, July 2, 2018. Born Aug. 4, 1965, in Kingston, he was the son of the late Frederick D. and Jane H. (Argulewicz) Schryver.

Fred was employed for 17 years with Rite-Aid as a courier. He was a simple man with a giant heart whose passion was fishing. His favorite quote was, “A bad day of fishing is better than any good day at work.”

Surviving are his sister, Mary L. Santoroski and her husband, Tom; nephew and godson, Christophe­r Santoroski; nieces, Molly Jane and Rose Marie Santoroski, all of whom he loved very much; his dear friend, Nancy Clyne; and aunts, Josephine Argulewicz Naccarato, and Emma Argulewicz. Many cousins, friends, and customers also survive.

Funeral arrangemen­ts are under the guidance of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home Inc., 27 Smith Ave., Kingston (www. jvleahyfh.com). Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral procession will form Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
