» Glenn Patrick Noonan, 61, died July 6, 2018 at his residence in Gardiner, N.Y.

Glenn was born on April 7, 1957 in the Bronx, the son of the late Joseph P. and Ruth (Krupp) Noonan. He married Lee Ann Lewis on Sept. 15, 1990 in New Paltz.

Glenn was employed as a local real estate broker until his retirement. He was passionate about serving his community. He was an Ulster County Legislator for 14 years, holding the position of Minority Leader and chaired many committees on the county legislatur­e.

Glenn was a member of Christ the King Church in New Paltz, where he was a head usher and a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Kingston. He volunteere­d and supported the Brookside School, one of the highlights for him was playing Santa Claus to the school children and was a recipient of the Brookside Golden Heart Award.

Most importantl­y, Glenn loved spending time with his family. He had always enjoyed the annual family vacations at the beach. Recently, Glenn purchased a condo in Myrtle Beach where he spent the past several winters upon retirement. He was an avid reader and a NY sports fan.

Besides his wife, Lee Ann, Glenn is survived by four daughters: Jennifer Bajunid (Annaz) of Mason, Ohio, Melissa Werner (Jeff) of Kingston, N.Y., Kimberly Haubert (Jack) of Tuxedo Park, and Kayla Weissinger (Ron, Jr.) of the Town of Newburgh; sister, Colleen Blake (Gary) of Harriman, N.Y.; and brother, Ryne Noonan (Sharon) of Montgomery, N.Y.; his grandchild­ren, Xavier, Audrey and Zachary Bajunid; nieces and nephews, Sean Blake, Kelly Fujii; Ryan Blake, Colin, and Conor Noonan.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Copeland Funeral Home, 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, N.Y. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Christ The King Church, 2 Eugene L. Brown Drive, New Paltz, N.Y.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Glenn’s memory be made to the Brookside School, 11 Tanhouse Brook Road, Cottekill, N.Y., 12419, or Christ The King Church, 2 Eugene L. Brown Drive, New Paltz, N.Y., 12561.
