Catskill
• Drugs: Michelle D. Marson, 38, and Jason W. Higgins, 37, both of Haines Falls, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:25 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 23A. Marson was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Higgins was charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Both were released with appearance tickets for Catskill Town Court.
New Baltimore
• Stolen property: Brianna Paradise, 21, of Culver City, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday on the New York State Thruway and was charged with possession of stolen property valued at more than $3,000, a felony, and with obstruction of justice, a misdemeanor. Paradise was jailed pending a court appearance. Further information was unavailable.
Saugerties
• Grand larceny: Daniel S. Torelli, 37, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:51 p.m. Wednesday at the Saugerties Police Department and was charged with grand larceny, a felony, stemming from a May 9 incident. Torelli was released with an appearance ticket for Saugerties Town Court. Further information was unavailable.
Town of Rochester
• Assault/reckless endangerment: Jamie A. Moran, 28, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday on Mettacahonts Road and was charged with felony assault with a weapon and with reckless endangerment, aggravated unlicensed driving and reckless driving, all misdemeanors. Moran was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Town of Ulster
• Drugs: Brian J. Flaherty, 38, of West Hurley, and Raven S. Twining, 43, of West Shokan, were arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 28 in the town and were each charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both were released with appearance tickets for Ulster Town Court.
• DWI: Lisa F. King, 55, of Wayne, Pa., was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:14 a.m. Thursday on Frank E. Sottile Blvd. and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. King was released with appearance tickets for Ulster Town Court.
