The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

Durham

• Drugs: Florence E. Bergmann, 62, of N. Billerica, Mass., was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 10:16 p.m. Wednesday at 1 Poultney Road and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (more than one ounce of cannabis), criminal possession of a controlled substance (hallucinog­en with intent to sell) and possession of more than 16 ounces of marijuana (two counts), all felonies; criminal possession of a controlled substance (four counts) and criminal possession of a controlled substance (more than 2 ounces of marijuana), all misdemeano­rs; and possession of marijuana (five counts), all violations. Bergmann was released on Wednesday after posting $2,500 bail, pending a further court appearance.

Livingston

• Burglary: Heather L. Wood, 23, of Ravena, was arrested by state police at Livingston at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday on Schneider Road and was charged with burglary and possession of stolen property, both felonies; and criminal impersonat­ion, a misdemeano­r. Wood was arrested after a resident called 911 after receiving a text from her home’s security system alerting the owner to movement within the residence. Wood was found in the residence, police said. She initially allegedly provided a false identity to avoid associatio­n with a warrant for her arrest. She was also allegedly in possession of stolen credit cards and the proceeds of a residentia­l burglary in Coxsackie two days earlier. Wood was arraigned and sent to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail pending a court appearance.

New Baltimore

• Drugs: Michael S. Garner, 29, of the Bronx, was arrested by state police at

Albany on the New York State Thruway and was charged with possession of more than 25 grams of marijuana, a misdemeano­r; and the infraction of failing to register a motor vehicle. Garner was released with appearance tickets for New Baltimore Town Court.

New Paltz

• DWI: Stephanie F. Earl, 50, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:49 a.m. Thursday on Springtown Road in the town and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs. Earl was released with appearance tickets for New Paltz Court.

• DWI: Anibal G. Geronimo, 50, of Lawrence, Mass., was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:27 p.m. Wednesday on the New York State Thruway in the town and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both misdemeano­rs. Geronimo was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

Town of Ulster

• DWI: Renato Botero, 51, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:46 p.m. Wednesday on Washington Avenue and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeano­rs, and with the infraction of crossing road hazard markings. Botero was released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
