Kathleen Louise Vogt Moisan, 60, of Raleigh, N.C.

RALEIGH, N.C. » Kathleen Louise Vogt Moisan, 60, died Monday, July 9, 2018, at her home.

A native of Hurley, N.Y., she was the daughter of Mary Lou White Vogt and the late Roger Vogt Sr.

Mrs. Moisan loved her time as a teacher and counselor at Vandora Springs Elementary School, where she treasured her school family.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 3 p.m. at St. Francis United Methodist Church, Cary, N.C. The burial will take place on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. at Hurley Cemetery, Hurley, N.Y., with lunch to follow in the church fellowship hall.

In addition to her mother, Mary Lou Vogt, she is survived by her husband, Peter Moisan; sons, Lukas Nathaniel Moisan of Raleigh, and David Tristan Moisan of Creedmoor; brothers, Roger Vogt Jr. (Ruth), Derrick Vogt (Patty) and Randall Vogt, all of Hurley, N.Y.; special cousin, Allison Vogt (Rodney) of Apex, N.C., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Vogt Sr.
