Police say Chance M. Falsetta, 24, of Lake Katrine, made trouble at a QuickChek location on consecutive days.

A Lake Katrine man who was arrested twice in a 24hour period at the QuickChek store on Washington Avenue was “being disorderly and throwing stuff around,” town police Lt. J.P. Gramoglia said Monday.

Chance M. Falsetta, 24, initially was arrested Wednesday afternoon after police responded to a report of a disorderly subject, according to a press release from the town of Ulster Police Department.

Falsetta was charged with criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

He was arraigned in Ulster Town Court later Wednesday and released with an appearance ticket and an order to stay away from the store, Gramoglia said.

Falsetta was apparently “having a bad day -— two days, I guess,” the lieutenant said Monday.

On Thursday afternoon, Falsetta returned to QuickChek store and again began throwing things around and damaging property, Gramoglia said. He said Falsetta was not targeting or threatening anyone on either day. The second time, Falsetta was charged with the misdemeanors of criminal contempt, for violating the stay-away order, and criminal mischief.

Falsetta was arraigned later Thursday and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
