Freedom Propane hangs on for C Division triumph

Matt Kennedy’s 30-point night lifted Freedom Propane past Williams Lumber 53-47 in a town of Red Hook Recreation League basketball C Division contest.

Chris Pannetta rounded Freedom’s scoring with 15 points.

Tyler Speith scored 20 points and John Guerrino added 14 points to pace Williams.

Shane Valijan scored 21 points to key a 70-67 victory for the Blazers over Point Break Tennis in A division action.

Colby Whalen added 14 points and Isiah Smith tacked on 11 to lead the Blazers.

Ricky Bailey scored 21 points and Neville Bent had 19 to carry Point Break.

Jerrell Dixon scored 12 points and Matt Minnow and Jason Lafork each added 10 as Minnow Motors edged the Clippers 51-48 in a B Division game.

Peyton Gibbons scored 14 points, Frank Brophy contributed 11 and John Bergozzi had 10 to pace the Clippers.
