Saturday, Sept. 8: 5th annual Tyler J. Smith 5K Run & Walk, Margaretville Village Park (behind Freshtown Market), Margaretville, N.Y. Benefit for Tyler J. Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund. Pre-register before Sept. 1 at https://raceroster. com/events/2018/14201/ tyler-j-smith-memorialscholarship-5k-runwalk or by mail (registration forms available at Catskill Season, Main Street, Margaretville). Race-day registration onsite from 9-10 a.m. Kids Dash at 10:15 a.m. 5k race at 10:30 a.m. T-shirt, runner’s “swag-bag” and chicken BBQ lunch all included with run/registration.
