Robert T. Wolf, Sr., 74, of North Drive, Town of Ulster, died Monday, July 30, 2018, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Born Sept. 20, 1943, in Kingston, N.Y., he is the son of the late Thomas and Charlotte (Lucas) Wolf.

Robert was the head custodian at Kingston City Schools, he was employed previously as manager of Hill-Trandle Distributo­rs, Thompson Laundry Company in Kingston. He was a member of Ulster Kiwanis for 38 years, the Boy Scouts, and served as vice president of Kingston City Schools CSEA. His favorite past time was watching his grandchild­ren’s activities. Robert enjoyed traveling and camping as he travel to 47 states. He was proud to have shaken hands with the Pope. He also sponsored exchange students.

Surviving is his wife of 54 years Elizabeth N. “Betty” (Haines) Wolf; his children, Robert T. Wolf, Jr., and his wife Maxine, and Melissa Scott and her husband Michael; his siblings, Patricia Shorette and her husband Louis, George Wolf and his wife Susanne, Cindy Richter, and Terry Wolf and his wife Elaine; stepbrothe­rs, Thomas Wolf, Rodney Wolf (Cathy) and Darryl Wolf; grandchild­ren, Shane A. Williams, Emily E. Wolf and Tanner M. Scott; and a great-granddaugh­ter, Riley Elizabeth Williams. Many nieces and nephews also survive. He is predecease­d by his sisters, Florence Elmore and Chrystal Kennedy.

Funeral and cremation arrangemen­ts are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston, N.Y., www.jvleahyfh.com. Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. A service will begin at 7 p.m. Inurnment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wiltwyck Cemetery.
