Rachel Lynn Terpening, 54, of Union Center Rd., Ulster Park, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at HealthAlli­ance Hospital, Broadway.

She was born in Kingston, N.Y., on Sept. 15, 1963; a daughter of the late Thomas Stisi and Priscilla (Stisi) Soura.

Rachel was employed as a packer for Mott’s Apple Farm in Ulster Park, where she met her husband of 24 years, Louis C. Terpening, Jr.

She later became employed as an assembler at Dyno Nobel and attended BOCES, where she earned her certificat­ion as a CNA.

She enjoyed gardening and crocheting, and loved animals, especially her dogs, Rocky and Milo.

In addition to her husband Lou, Rachel is also survived by three daughters, Mandy Fuller, and her husband Eric Sr., of Esopus, Amie Terpening of Esopus, and Louellen Terpening, and her fiance Cory, of Ulster Park; four brothers, Thomas Stisi, Jr., of Arizona, Scott Stisi of Nebraska, Roger, and Jimmy Justice of Saugerties; her four grandchild­ren who were most paramount in her life, Jordan, Eric Jr., Zachary and Ryan Fuller, and her dear friend, Deborah Lake of Florida. Many brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is also predecease­d by one son, Ralphie Edward Cogswell III.

The memorial service will begin at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3:45 p.m. www.GVVFH.com
