Russell Emanuel Wilson, 56, of Kingston

ULSTER PARK » Russell Emanuel Wilson, 56, of Kingston, N.Y., passed into eternal rest on Saturday morning, July 28, 2018, at Albany Medical Center.

Born on Oct. 16, 1961 in Queens, N.Y., Russell, affectionately known as Russ was named after his father, Russell Herbert Wilson. His love of life was matched with Charmaine’s, his wife of 30 years, love of family, and they raised so many sons and daughters; some relatives, some fostered, and the five children of his heart: Manny, 18, Diamond, 17, Sahn, 16, Dior, 13, and Tiffy, 11.

He is preceded by his mother and father, Frances and Russell Wilson, and is survived by his beloved wife, Charmaine; his children, Emanuel, Diamond, Elsahn, Diorah, Tiffany, Big Manny and Denise; his sisters, Judith and Kimberley; his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts, cousins, many work and community friends, and his extended church family.

Funeral services for Russell Emanuel Wilson are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue and will be held Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018 at 3 p.m. at Living Word Chapel, 1555 Route 28A, West Hurley, N.Y., 12491. There will be a short viewing for the family and close friends a half hour before the funeral service. The repass immediately follows in the Fellowship Hall downstairs. Interment will be Monday, Aug. 7, 2018 at Montrepose Cemetery.
