Margaret ‘Peggy’ Ann Sutherland Moyer, 75, of Tillson

Margaret “Peggy” Ann Sutherland Moyer, 75, of Tillson, passed away peacefully Friday morning, Aug. 10, 2018.

Born on Nov. 15, 1942, she was the daughter of Howard and Helen Sutherland. Peggy was a graduate of Kingston High School. She was married to Donald M. Moyer for over 46 years. Together, they spent much of their time traveling the world.

Peggy was employed at IBM for over 30 years. During retirement, Peggy spent much of her time volunteering, golfing, and skiing. She was very active in the United Reformed Church located in Rosendale. Peggy especially loved taking art classes, painting, and spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Donald M. Moyer; her children, Deborah Oakley and her husband Richard, Amy Saehloff and her husband Paul, Scott Moyer and his wife Julie, and Richard Coddington and his partner Dawn. Peggy leaves behind her grandchildren, Jessica Oakley, Joshua Gill, Christopher Gill, Isabel Moyer, Alaina Moyer, Pippa Coddington-Sweet, Kyrie Coddington-Sweet; her great-grandchildren, Aurora, Isabella, and Matthew; as well as her brothers, Howard Sutherland and his partner Lois, Gary Sutherland and his wife Linda, and their daughter Sarah.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Coddington.

A memorial service will be held at Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, N.Y. 12401, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2018, from 2 to 5 p.m., with the funeral service starting at 5 p.m.
