••• Nicholas “Biko” Skalla graduated, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communicat­ions., with a bachelor of science degree.

A 2015 Saugerties High School graduate, he is currently working for the MLB Network in Secaucus, N.J.

••• Three area residents — Dominique Lindsay of Kingston, Matthew Bevilacqua of West Park and Louis Bush of Catskill — graduated from Hofstra University in Hempstead, with undergradu­ate degrees.

Lindsay received a bachelor of arts degree in mathematic­s. Bevilacqua received a bachelor of business administra­tion degree in internatio­nal business. Bush received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineerin­g.

••• Suzanna Liddle of Halcottsvi­lle graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., on May 27, with a degree in psychology.

A graduate of Holderness School, she is the daughter of Jenny and Richard Liddle.

••• Eliza Benfer of Milton, a student at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, was recently by the national “It’s On Us” campaign as a campus organizer.

It’s On Us is a proactive sexual assault prevention and awareness program. Orange County, N.Y. was the first county in the United States to join the It’s On Us campaign, with the Mount’s kickoff in February 2016 garnering nearly 600 signatures from members of the college community who pledged to help put a stop to dating and sexual violence wherever they go.

As a campus organizer, Benfer will serve as the president of the college’s It’s On Us activities and act as a liaison between the national organizati­on and the college. She will also meet with other campus organizers from the Northeast Regional Team of It’s On Us to develop ways to further implement the campaign on campus. Benfer is a senior.

••• Three area residents — Isaac Thomas-Markarian of New Paltz, Isabel Carleton of Rhinebeck and Emily Moore of Pleasant Valley — were named to the dean’s list at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., for the spring semester.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

Thomas-Markarian is a student in the university’s School of Engineerin­g and Applied Science. Carleton is a student in the university’s College of Arts & Sciences. Moore recently graduated from the university’s College of Arts & Sciences.

••• Two area residents — Adrianna Elashker of Kingston and Alyssa Mast of New Paltz — received the dean’s award for academic excellence for the spring semester.

Students earn the award by achieving a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher.

Elashker is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in molecular biology. She is a Kingston High School graduate.

Mast is a member of the Class of 2021 and is majoring in peace and conflict studies. She is a New Paltz High School graduate.

Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

Ramirez is majoring in visual arts. Davidson is majoring in deaf and hard of hearing education. Wolek is majoring in biology. Libutti is majoring in health and exercise science.

Gunderman is majoring in English. Riley is majoring in political science. LaRegina is majoring in civil engineerin­g.

Students earned dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for the entire academic year.

Haig is a member of the Class of 2021 and is majoring in visual arts. Reinhardt is a member of the Class of 2021

and is majoring in political science. Roberto is a member of the Class of 2018and is majoring in neuroscien­ce. Baxter is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in English and classics.

Ludlam is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in geology. Ricci is a member of the Class of 2018and is majoring in mathematic­s and computer science. McManus and Serrano are both majoring in biology. Curran is majoring in management and leadership. Drakontaid­is is majoring in psychology.
