Greenville
• DWI: Edward L. Welsch, 25, of Medusa, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3:05 a.m. Sunday on state Route 81 at Red Mills Road and was charged with drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a bloodalcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Welsch was released with an appearance ticket for Greenville Town Court.
Lloyd
• Drugs: Tyrone A. Cheatham, 37, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:58 a.m. Sunday on Vineyard Avenue and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Cheatham was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
New Paltz
• Drugs: Johnathon J. Manigault, 23, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:59 p.m. Saturday on state Route 299 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with having a controlled substance in a non-original container and unlawful marijuana possession, both violations. Manigault was released with an appearance ticket for New Paltz Town Court.
Prattsville
• Assault: John T. Voetelink, 23, and Malissa M. Post, 45, both of Prattsville, were arrested by state police at Catskill Saturday following a domestic dispute. Voetelink was arrested at 7:36 a.m. and was charged with assault, a misdemeanor, and with harassment with physical contact, a violation. Post was later arrested at 7:56 a.m. on a misdemeanor assault charge. Voetelink and Post were both released pending a court appearance.
Red Hook
• DWI: Milad C. Daniari, 25, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 2:02 a.m. Sunday on Robbins Road on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Daniari was released with an appearance ticket for Red Hook Town Court.
Rosendale
• DWI: David W. Heisler, 45, of Tillson, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 8 p.m. Friday on Grove Street on felony charges of drunken driving (previous conviction within 10 years) and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent (prior offense). He was also charged with the violation of unlawful marijuana possession and was issued traffic tickets for substandard lights and an equipment violation (window tint). Heisler was released with an appearance ticket for Rosendale Town Court.
Saugerties
• Assault: Kevin M. Donahue, 55, of Mount Marion, was arrested by Saugerties police at 12:27 p.m. Saturday on a misdemeanor charge of attempted assault after police were called to a home on Plattekill Drive for a reported domestic dispute. Police said they determined that Donahue had been in a physical dispute with a sibling whom he’d kicked in chest several times. Donahue was arraigned in Saugerties Town Court and was released with a ticket to appear in Saugerties Town Court Wednesday.
Town of Ulster
• Drugs: Kristie A. Marien, 42, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1 p.m. Saturday on Frank Sottile Boulevard and was charged with two misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. She was also charged with two counts of having a controlled substance in a non-original container and unlawful marijuana possession, all violations. Marien was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
Wawarsing
• Drugs: Anthony N. Murdoc, 41, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:45 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 209 on a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of marijuana (greater than 25 grams). Murdoc was released with an appearance ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
