City of Kingston
• DWI: Nyasa D. Hoyte, 30, of Ulster Park, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 2:24 a.m. Saturday on Fair Street and was charged with drunken driving, a misdemeanor, and the infractions of driving an unregistered vehicle and refusing a breath test. Hoyte was released with appearance tickets for Kingston City Court.
Catskill
• DWI: David Loyola, 35, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3:09 a.m. Saturday on Green Street in the village and was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving. Loyola was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Village Court.
Coxsackie
• DWI: Larissa F. Morse, 30, of Ravena, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 11:28 p.m. Friday on the Mansion Street Extension in the town and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, both misdemeanors. Morse was released with appearance tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.
Hunter
• DWI: Richard F. Thorpe, 35, of Manchester, Conn., was arrested by state police at Hunter on state Route 23A at 1:43 a.m. Saturday and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, both misdemeanors, and with an equipment violation. Thorpe was released with appearance tickets for Hunter Town Court.
• Drugs: Devon R. Yankowski, 28, of West Hurley, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 7:51 p.m. Friday on state Route 28A and was charged with five misdemeanor counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana, a violation; and failure to keep right, an infraction. Yankowski was released with appearance tickets for Hurley Town Court.
Poughkeepsie
• DWI: Gunnar O. AimoneReichelt, 30, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Claverack on North Road in the town and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, both misdemeanors. AimoneReichelt was released with appearance tickets for Poughkeepsie Town Court.
Red Hook
• Forcible touching/endangering: Ivan M. Valdez, 30, of Rhinebeck, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 6 p.m. Friday in the village of Red Hook and was charged with four counts each of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child, all misdemeanors. Valdez was released from the Dutchess County Jail after posting $5,000 bail.
• Bail jumping: Travis A. Thiel, 35, of Ellenville, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 10:17 a.m. Friday and was charged with bail jumping, a misdemeanor. Thiel was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail pending a court appearance.
Saugerties
• Drugs: Alioune Q. Diack, 20, of Cherry Hill, N.Y., was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 4:44 p.m. Friday on state Route 32 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Also arrested was Matthew Lerner, 20, of South Orange, N.J., who was charged with possession of marijuana, a violation. Both were released with appearance tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
