Six area residents — Kathleen M. Bock and Marissa Catherine Schatzel, both of Saugerties; Stephanie Minerley of Red Hook, Daniel C. Speranza of Poughkeeps­ie, Andrew S. Rivera of Pleasant Valley and Elizabeth A. O’Reilly of Walden — graduated from Albany Law School, with juris doctorate degrees.

••• Corey Curran of Saugerties graduated from Le Moyne College in Syracuse on May 20, with a bachelor of science degree in management and leadership, and finance.

Curran was also named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

••• Four area residents — Caroline Roberto of Highland, Sophie Vallas of Rhinebeck, and Abadie Ludlam and Elizabeth Ricci, both of Red Hook — graduated from Union College in Schenectad­y of June 17.

Roberto graduated, with a bachelor of science degree in neuroscien­ce. Vallas graduated, with a bachelor of science degree in biology. Ludlam graduated, summa cum laude, with a bachelor of science degree in geology. Ricci graduated, summa cum laude, with a bachelor of science degree in mathematic­s and computer science.

••• Three area residents attending the State University of New York at Potsdam — Grace Folmsbee and Kyle Van Wagner, both of Red Hook; and Emily Downs of Olivebridg­e — were named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference’s Commission­er’s Academic Honor Roll.

Students earn honor roll status by achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher for the 2017-18 academic year.

Folmsbee was a freshman member of the softball team. Van Wagner was a member of the men’s hockey team. Downs was a member of the women’s cross country team.

Ten students at ColumbiaGr­eene Community College in Greenport — Tori Popp and Austin Haley-Berry, both of Tivoli, Catherine Gomm of Milan, Phillip Proper and Nicholas Funk, both of Kinderhook; Lucas Foster of Germantown, Rachel Nielsen of Ghent, Hunter Goodacre of Copake, Riley Werner of Valatie and Amira Furtado of Jamaica — were named to the National Junior College Athletic Associatio­n Region III Academic All-Region List.

Student-athletes qualify for the list by achieving a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and earning at least 24 credits during the academic year.

Haley-Berry, Proper, Foster and Goodacre were all members of the baseball team. Gomm and Nielsen were both members of the softball team. Popp was a member of the softball and women’s basketball teams. Funk was a member of the men’s track and field team. Werner was a member of the women’s track and field team. Furtado was a member of the women’s basketball and women’s track and field teams.

••• Eight area residents — Lucas Siegel of Woodstock, Charley Nyzio of Stone Ridge, Nancy Guerrino of Red Hook, Cossette Wrobel of Rhinecliff, Kathryn Soricelli and Connor Wise, both of Poughkeeps­ie; Monica Dillon of Poughquag and Danielle Fergus of Pleasant Valley — were named to the dean’s list at Connecticu­t College in New London for the spring semester.

Siegel and Nyzio are both members of the Class of 2021. Guerrino is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in government. Wrobel is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in English. Soricelli is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in English and theater. Wise is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in economics. Dillonis a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in biological sciences. Fergus is a member of the Class of 2019 and is majoring in psychology and human developmen­t.
