Field + Supply, a high-end craft and design fair, will return to the Hutton Brickyards in October.
A highend craft and design fair will return to the Hutton Brickyard in October.
Field + Supply, a modern maker’s design fair, will occupy the 200 North St. site along the Hudson River shoreline, Oct. 5-7.
On Friday, Oct. 5, the fair will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 7, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10. Featuring a selection of artisans, Field + Supply will highlight hand-crafted goods, old and new, from a variety of studios and workshops. Some 120 exhibitors are expected.
“In addition to the stylish, high-end designs and crafts, a tent dedicated to antiques dealers will make its debut, as well as an area just for children to make their own crafts,” a press release stated.
This year’s Field + Supply was organized by online antiques seller Decaso and Kid Made Modern.
Event founder Brad Ford said the Hudson Valley is a nice spot for the fair.
“Field + Supply is a modern, design focused version of the arts and craft fairs I loved as a kid growing up in the South,” Ford said in a press release. “(This is) a weekend in the scenic Hudson Valley meant to relax, shop with local artisans, and enjoy delicious food with friends and family.”
“Field + Supply is a celebration of community with well-designed products and the craftspeople behind them,” Ford said.
The year’s fair will kick off with a preview cocktail party, private dinners, and live music. Hutton Brickyards has been the site for other recent events including two concerts in June 2017 by musician Bob Dylan.
