Cairo

• DWI: Gregory S. Young, 53, of Cairo, was arrested on state Route 23 at 9:46 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, and charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r, according to state police at Coxsackie. Young was arrested and issued an appearance ticket, police said.

• DWI: Jason C. Verdon, 36, of Palenville, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on state Route 32 on Saturday, Aug. 25, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r. He was issued a court appearance ticket.

Catskill

• DWI: Artyom Y. Bouriak, 27, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:38 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on state Route 23A and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a felony. He was held by police pending arraignmen­t.

Esopus

• Criminal contempt: Adrian L. Williams, 33, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland on U.S. Route 9W in Esopus at 9:15 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and was charged with criminal contempt, a misdemeano­r. Williams was issued a court appearance ticket.

Kerhonkson

• Welfare fraud: Heather Taylor, 42 of Kerhonkson, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies on Friday, Aug. 24, and was charged with welfare fraud and three counts of offering a false Instrument for filing, felonies, according to the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office. An investigat­ion determined that Taylor did not disclose her true household compositio­n and income to the Department of Social Services from February 2016 to May 2018, the District Attorney’s Office said. Taylor filed several applicatio­ns with the department during that period of time, not disclosing the income, which resulted in her receiving $7,211 in benefits she was not entitled to, the authoritie­s said.

Lloyd

• DWI: Jodi-Ann S. Jahalal, 30, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:27 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on state Route 299 in Lloyd, and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r. She was issued a court appearance ticket.

Rosendale

• DWI: Laura J. Startup, 45, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on Main Street in Rosendale and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r. She was also issued several traffic violations, police said. Startup was issued a court appearance ticket.

• DWI: Robert Suss-Kolyer, 57, of 825Churchl­and Court, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties Police at 1:49 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on state Route 212 at Fish Creek Road and was charged with driving while intoxicate­d, a misdemeano­r, after she was stopped for driving in the middle of the road. Suss-Kolyer is to appear in Saugerties Town Justice Court on Wednesday, Sept. 5, police said.

Ulster Park

• Grand larceny: Scott R. McCain, 48, of Ulster Park, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:36 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and was charged with grand larceny, a felony.
