Warry B. Bogart, 69, a former longtime resident of Stone Ridge, died Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus in Kingston.

He had been a resident at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine for several years previous.

Warry was born in Kingston April 22, 1949, a son of the late Warry K. and Gloria Protoss Bogart.

He was a graduate of Rondout Valley High School.

After the tragic death of his wife Kathleen, daughter Tara and son Joshua, in a motor vehicle accident in March of 1984, Warry relocated to Sacramento, California. He worked many years there as a truck driver.

He is survived by a sister, Darlene Johnson (Patrick Purvis) of Olivebridg­e, two brothers, Richard Bogart (Kathleen) of Voorheesvi­lle and Bruce Bogart (late Daria Countryman Bogart) of High Falls. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and a stepson, Jamie Pebley of California.

A sister, Laura C. Bogart, died Sept. 3, 2010.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Rev. Arlene Dawber will officiate. Interment will be in Benton Bar Cemetery, Kyserike. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Rosendale. (www.GJMoy lanFuneral­Home.com)
